With two kids in elementary school, my criteria for teacher’s gifts is pretty strict, but simple. My kids have to be able to carry it on the bus (preferably in their backpack!) without breaking it; it needs to be the perfect balance between sentimental and useful, and can’t break the bank. While this formula is simple, its not that easy! In the past it has eliminated plants (too heavy, messy and fragile!), kitchy trinkets (for obvious reasons), and gift cards (often impersonal and also too expensive if done right!). This year I’ve decided on these adorable beaded, pencil-look-a-like bracelets and baked goods. If getting crafty isn’t your jam, however, I’ve rounded up some of my favorite ideas to help make this time of year a tiny bit easier for us all.
Teacher Gift Ideas
- Your kids handprint, some dried flowers and some construction paper can come together relatively easily for this cute card that I’m sure any teacher would appreciate (and they can leave it in the classroom!). - I was inspired by this Etsy shop to make these pencil-like bracelets with my kids for their teachers, but if you’re not feeling crafty, you can purchase and this shop will make them for you! https://bit.ly/3t3ODih
- This one breaks one of my rules because it definitely isn’t budget-friendly, but if you REALLY LOVE your kids teacher, she will really love you too with this Drunk Elephant Littles set.
- Maybe the easiest, most practical gift ever that is also super cute is this set of permanent markers with the cute little card. This one is definitely going in the vault for next year!
