I have a great love for coffee table books. Not so much for reading, admittedly, but because they make great decor around the whole house! Over the years I have collected a lot of them, and use them in decorating everything from coffee tables to accent tables and bookshelves.
Creating Height in a Vignette
One really important element in creating vignettes for the perfect #shelfie is creating height. I like to stack a couple of books to create height, and then put a candle, vase or other decorative object on top.
Coffee table books also make for good conversation pieces, and can provide a lot of inspiration when you actually open them up :) Here are some of the ones I have around my house, my current faves to use and peruse.
