Updating your Outdoor Space for Spring

ONE HOUSE, THREE OUTDOOR SPACES

Anyone who has ever spent a weekend or longer in Maine during the summer knows how special it is. Everyone comes out of hibernation and neighborhoods are humming with families being outside and together. One of our clients, who also happens to be a neighbor, is lucky enough to spend the whole summer in Maine, and live directly on a beautiful, sandy beach. Not only that but she has 3 gorgeous outdoor spaces all with incredible views to enjoy it and take it all in.

We were recently tasked with furnishing these spaces, creating 3 unique looks, each to suit the individual needs of the space. Although they are all separate spaces, creating a cohesive outdoor vibe was essential to the success of this project. Not only that, but we needed to use high end furniture that would withstand the strong ocean air as well as the ever-changing Maine weather.

The Beach Overlook

The beach overlook is a small stone patio closest to the beach on our client's property. We wanted to create a zone that would be comfy for the whole family to chill and take in the sunset or roast S'mores over the firepit.

The Deck

Next up was the deck, which the family uses for outdoor dining. Again the furniture needed to be super durable, as it is susceptible to the ocean air and ever-changing Maine weather patterns.

The Rooftop

Finally we furnished the rooftop. A loungy space with an area to enjoy some apps or cocktails. Somewhere to take in the 4th of July fireworks, or hang after the kids go to bed.
