What I Keep in my Car Pouch: The Mom Edition

Anyone who's ever been on a car ride (short or long!) with kids knows you've gotta go into it being prepared. During the wintertime, we travel about 3 hours north each weekend to go skiing, but even on short trips I find my kids can make a huge mess and chaos can ensue. A few weeks ago I was on Lemon8 (don't even get me started, IYKYK, if you don't, don't bother!), and saw someone posting their car pouch. Theirs had gorgeous makeup and luxurious hand cream, but it got me thinking: If I could keep a pouch of essentials in the car at all times, it might just make those car rides with the kids that much easier!

Just about everything I put in my Mom Edition Car Pouch can be found in our Amazon shop but it basically boils down to:

  • Sunscreen: for me and for them

  • Bug Spray

  • Sanitizing essentials (water wipes, clorox wipes and hand sanitizer)

  • Tide Stick

  • Emergency Snack

  • Face Masks, JIC

  • Extra Contacts (Ever had one rip mid-drive?!)

  • Pens

  • Hair Ties/Claw

  • Spare Cheap Sunglasses

  • Makeup Essentials: Concealer, Lip Oil and a makeup brush

  • a tampon
