What to Wear: A Polo Match in Newport, RI

This weekend I am going to be attending my future sister-in-law's bachelorette party in Newport, Rhode Island. Given that the whole guest list is 10 years my junior, I'm going to attend for 1 day and night, and we happen to be going to a polo match while I'm there! This is such a cute girls weekend idea, whether it's a bachelorette party or not.

Picking out my dress for this event was really fun, but also challenging. We are going to be transitioning right from the Polo match to the night scene, so I wanted something that didn't look too daytime. I also had to avoid white, because the bride is supposed to be the only one wearing white, so that added another challenge.
