Shop the Mood Board: 35 Hideaway Lane

As some of you may know, we have found ourselves a little niche here at Surf Road. In addition to the projects we LOVE close to home in the greater Portland, Maine area, we also have found ourselves taking on a lot of Airbnb Properties in the Bethel Area. These owners either are buying new construction, and therefore in need of everything, or they are sprucing up an older home.

This project was the latter, and we tackled 3 rooms that were in desperate need of a refresh: the dining room, living room and game room. One thing all of these owners have in common is the desire for an "instagram worthy" or "scroll stopping" image, some aesthetic you would almost never do in your own home, but is super fun and interesting in a rental. The furnishings budget for this project was also tight (almost as tight as the timeline!), but we made it work coming in at just under $15k on furniture and decor!

The Mood Board

This was the mood board we shared with the client. Through sourcing, because of budget and availability, we ended. up having to change the red color to green, but we are all super happy with the results!
