New Year, New Updates from Surf Road
Not to sound like all the basic influencers on Instagram or anything, but there actually ARE some new faces around here. New faces at Surf Road, and new faces following along. So here we are, with a reintroduction post for all the newbies :)

Surf Road Studio
So, if you're new around here, let me tell you a little bit about Surf Road, what we do and what you'll see here as you follow along. Surf Road is an interior design studio located in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. Speaking of studios, we just opened our doors to our very own space, and are SO excited to share it with you and our clients (along with a new website coming soon!)! We provide full service design for residential and commercial clients in the Greater Portland, Maine area, and beyond! Our focus is on modern coastal as well as transitional design. We have also found ourselves a little niche in designing mountain homes through our work in Rangeley, Maine at Saddleback Mountain and the Bethel, Maine area at Sunday River. The Surf Road Team
The Surf Road team is small but mighty, consisting mostly of me, lead designer, Liz Kirby and Stacy Stevens, Project Manager and head of our organizing division. We also include Mariah MacDonald, our head of social in that inner circle. Beyond that we work with a slew of photographers, videographers, contractors, accountants, and many other independent contractors who make our little studio run smoothly.

About Liz... I am a lawyer turned serial entrepreneur, finally finding my happy place as an interior designer a little more than 2 years ago after many, many years of doing it casually for friends and family and as a side hustle. I live in Cape Elizabeth, about a quarter mile from where I grew up, with my husband, our two elementary school age kids, 2 cats, and soon, a puppy! We also have a home in Rangeley, Maine on Saddleback Mountain where you can find us every weekend between December and April. I love ethnic food, sappy teen dramas, travel and shopping! About Stacy... Stacy is a Middle School Counselor turned professional organizer and proud owner of Half Full Organizing, based in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. We met through Stacy's husband who also is a Cape Elizabeth "townie" as Stacy refers to us, but also through our 3rd grade daughters who are dear friends. When Stacy decided to leave her job as a School Counselor, I quickly scooped her up to help me not only organize our clients newly designed homes, but also my business as our Project Manager. She has done just that, and so much more, which is why we decided to bring her organizing business in house earlier this year! Stacy loves organizing (obviously!), shopping and warm weather and absolutely hates the camera (but it loves her!).
