Whether it's the annual office gathering, a more sophisticated soiree with old friends or even a Sunday Mommy and me matinee, chances are the question of what to wear this holiday season has crossed your mind a time or two in the last few weeks. Since we've had all of the above already in December, we can promise we've scoured the usual spots. We've thumbed through Rent The Runway, we've looked at the Maine Mall, been downtown and in every store on Exchange, and we've spent too many hours on quick-ship shops like Revolve, Amazon and Lulu's.

What we've come up with is a few simple outfits to help take the guesswork out of your outfits for the rest of the year.
