My Labor day (Long) Weekend Packing list

This year my kids will not be starting school until after Labor Day, meaning we have an extra long weekend for Labor Day fun! We are planning to head up to Rangeley for the weekend for hiking, lake swimming and hopefully soaking up the last few days of summer by sleeping in and enjoying time together as a family. The weather in Rangeley turns towards Fall a lot earlier than in southern Maine, so I'll be packing lots of layers and all the cozy-comfies I plan on living in all Fall and Winter!

What to Wear: Hiking

Rangeley is famous for its beautiful lakes and mountains, so there are lots of good walking trails and mountain hikes to do. I recently invested in hiking shoes for myself and the kids, and took them out of a test run last weekend.

For a Labor Day hike in Rangeley I'll be wearing my go to Hey Nuts Lululemon Align dupe leggings and long line bra/tank, my new hiking shoes, and I'll bring my L.L.Bean Wool Shacket as a layer just in case.

What to Wear: Walking Around

I'm guessing it's going to be on the chillier side, but I'll bring this transition Summer to Fall dress from Athleta and my bathing suit just in case. We'll probably go out to dinner, but Rangeley is super casual, so I'm excited to wear these utility pants and fun new sweater I got on a day or night out.

Of course I'll be packing everything in my go to Beis weekender, which I never ever travel without! See my full packing list below, and shop what I'm bringing by clicking any pic. Remember I do get a small commission when you shop my posts :)
