Our Halloween 2023 Decor and Tips to Organize Your Holiday Decor
With all this rainy weather and September halfway through, we're definitely starting to feel ready for that crisp Fall air, turning leaves and, Crawford's favorite holiday, Halloween! Last year as we drove through some of the neighborhoods in our town and marveled at their giant blow up black cats and spiderwebs, Crawford made me promise we would decorate our house this year. So, since you'll never catch me with any cheesy holiday decor, but with a promise to keep, I set out to find the most designer-friendly Halloween set ups I could.
We tested out a few different scenarios, and rounded up all the goods so you can easily recreate these looks in your own house! Problem is, we can't decide our favorite! Hop over to our Surf Road Insta to join in the poll to vote for your favorite Halloween decor. Be sure to keep scrolling for a bonus post from our very own professional organizer, Stacy, on how to organize your Holiday Decor so you can easily store and access it when you need it!
The All Black Mantel
Probably the spookiest and most traditional set up, I am so in love with this all black mantel look we created at Stacy's house. The faux crows are particularly creepy. Don't have a mantel? No problem! I'm already picturing recreating this vibe on our dining room sideboard in the next couple of weeks!

light and bright halloween aesthetic
Stepping a bit more outside my comfort zone, it was so fun to create these less traditional, light and bright Halloween set ups! We used irridescent candlesticks and pink skulls and skeletons around my mantel, and set up a little skelly in one of my Serena and Lily hanging chairs. I honestly can't decide which one I like better!
