What to Wear: Summer Wedding Guest

At my age (rapidly approaching 40!), we don't have that many weddings to attend these days. However, my brother is getting married this Fall (finally!), which got me thinking about what we might wear! Since it's my brother it's a whole family affair, and we will have other wedding-related events too like bridal showers and the rehearsal dinner. I'm rounding up what we  are wearing to each event in case it might give you some ideas for your summer or fall wedding plans!

The Bridal Shower

Just Lennon and I will be going to the Bridal Shower this summer. It will be in Boston and probably pretty casual. What do you think of these cute Mommy and Me looks?

The Rehearsal Dinner

The Rehearsal Dinner is at their wedding venue in Wisscasset, Maine. It's a barn venue but I think it is a little more formal than a traditional barn wedding. My brother loves Italian food so we are doing a big Italian family style dinner. The Wedding

We are all in the wedding, which will be so cute. Lennon has already been really involved in picking her Flower Girl dress, and wants it to be super traditional. I don't think Crawford understands what a suit is, he's never worn one, so I'm pretty sure he's planning on wearing sweatpants and a t-shirt. Can't wait for the circus that is trying to get him into something appropriate. Kyle and I are in the wedding too. The guys are wearing black suits. The girls are wearing a mix of blush satin and velvet dresses from Revelry.
